Ordinary Spaces — An Introduction
	This on-going project, tries to examine our immediate surroundings, and reflects upon the human condition at the beginning of the 21st Century, through looking at the spaces we create and inhabit. Although void of people, these images hopefully reflect who we are, where we might be going, and where we come from. The photographs stand witness to, and act as symptomatic references to contemporary culture.		Our mediated spaces take on different forms, but there is always an intention to reflect a certain set of values. Our constructed environments shape our identities, whether these are global, national, or local in nature. Whichever the case, we can learn more about ourselves by studying the ever present forces in our immediate surroundings, no matter if these forces are natural, commercial, or personal in origin.

Individual prints of the images presented can be purchased. Today, 15 years later, most buildings and other constructed environments show signs of aging while natural objects have started to mature, filling in the gaps that once were.
